Auli, (the skiing Destination of India) is located in the hills of Garhwal Himalaya. In Garhwali it is known as Auli Bugyal, which means “meadow”. Auli is a year-round destination, but winter turns it into a magical place that no one wants to miss. Auli is famous for its huge snow-capped mountains, Trishul Peak, Nanda Devi Peak, and activities like skiing, camping, and hiking. From December to February Auli Mountains are usually covered with a thick blanket of snow, This fairytale destination is most famous for its skiing, snow games, and snowfall. The temperature of Auli is expected to dip as low as -8 degrees Celsius during the winter season, The best time to visit Auli is from November to February.
Day 1 : Dehradun – Auli (295 Km/9 hrs)
In the morning upon arrival at Dehradun railway station Tusk Travel representative will meet you and take you to your private car. On the way to Auli, visit Devprayag and Dhari Devi temple. This route provides panoramic views of hills, rivers, and forests.
On arrival check in to the hotel and after some rest have a leisure walk around nearby places. Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Auli.
Day 2 :Auli Sightseeing
Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Later visit Ski Resort Town to meet a skiing instructor for some basic skiing training for first-timers and start with skiing.
After lunch visits Auli Artificial Lake in the evening to watch the sunset over the lake. After enjoying an exciting day return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Auli Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, on this day proceed for an Auli tour with full day local sightseeing and activities, Skiing on the slopes of Auli is a great way to enjoy the Himalaya ranges and panoramic views of Trishul Peak, Dron Parvat, and Nanda Devi peak.
You can also go for a 3 km long scenic trek from Auli to Gurso Bugyal, enjoy the breath-taking scenic beauty of the landscape on this amazing and thrilling trek.
In the evening return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 : Auli – Dehradun (295 Km/9 hrs)
Post breakfast checks out from the hotel You will be transferred to Dehradun Railway Station for your journey back home with happy memories.
