7 Days North East Tour Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrive at Bagdogra Airport

The journey starts with your arrival at the Bagdogra Airport from where you will be picked up by our representative. A private cab will be given to you for the entire duration of your stay and you will be taken to Kalimpong. Check in to your hotel.

You will be given the entire day to enjoy yourself. You can visit West Bengal which is situated nearby or you can visit the several monasteries present here like Zang Dhok Palri Phodang houses. The Buddhist scriptures which are present here are very rare and cannot be found everywhere. You can try out some authentic Nepali cuisine which will melt your taste buds.

Return to the hotel for a peaceful night.

Day 02 – Local sightseeing of Kalimpong

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, start your day at Kalimpong. The day’s inclusion includes places like Dr Graham’s home, Golf Garden and Deolo Hills.

Visit Durpin Dara hills which are a beautiful and quiet place to be in. The numerous flower nurseries hold unique and exotic flowers which are not found in common places.

Late that afternoon, you will be taken to Gangtok. On arrival, check in to your hotel and rest for the night after a hearty dinner.

Day 03 – Sightseeing of Gangtok

After having breakfast at your hotel, you will be the day your day where you will be taken to Tsomgo Lake. It is a perfect place to be in and the views are just spectacular to click lots of pictures. The Changu Lake is a glacial lake and gets totally frozen during winters. The next on the list is the Baba Mandir which is dedicated to late soldier Harbhajan Singh.

Nathulal Pass is an option in this package and mostly it is trekking as the pass is located at a height of 14,000 feet from sea level. You get to see the China border on payment of an additional fee.

Return to Gangtok in the evening and spend the rest of the evening in any manner you like. You can take a stroll at the Gangtok markets which gives you a vibe of a foreign market and are equipped with classy things. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 04 – A day in Gangtok

After breakfast, enjoy the local places of Gangtok from the morning. There are a few monasteries which are worth visiting.

Some of the notable places are Cottage Industry, Banjhakri Hills, Institute of Tibetology, etc. Flower show and handicrafts centre are other places to visit. You can buy some hand made goods to your loved ones.

Visit the Tasha View Point and then to Ganesh and Hanuman Tok. After having dinner, return to your hotel for the night.

Day 05 – Transfer to Darjeeling

After having breakfast, you will be taken to Darjeeling which is a long journey and you will cross the city of West Bengal on the way.

On arrival, check in to your hotel and rest for some time. You can just the streets of Darjeeling as the entire day is at leisure for you.

Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 06 – Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
