BADRINATH AND KEDARNATH YATRA

Day 01: Arrive at Delhi Airport / Railway Station

  • Arrive at Delhi Airport/Railway Station, our representative will pick up you Later will drive for Haridwar,
  • On arrival check in at mention hotel take some rest in hotel. Visit Mansa Devi Temple & Chandi Devi Temple.
  • In evening you can visit the famous ghat “Hark Ki Pauri” for Ganga Aarti.
  • Later come to hotel for overnight dinner.

 

Day 02: Haridwar – Guptkashi

  • After having breakfast at hotel later drive to Guptkashi.
  • Get a mesmerizing view of River Ganga during all the time of journey. You can see the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River at Devprayag.
  • Have your lunch in the midway and you will reach the destination in the evening. Check-in into the Hotel and Enjoy the surrounding of beautiful Garhwal.
  • Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Guptkashi.

 

Day 03: Guptkashi To Kedarnath Temple (30 Km by road & 18 km trek)

  • Early breakfast and leave for Sonprayag
  • After reaching Sonprayag, your vehicle will be parked in Sonprayag Parking, take the local Conveyance for Gaurikund from Sonprayag, Once you reach the Gaurikund you can proceed the famous trek to Kedarnath Temple. It is 19km trek, there you have other options Dolly/ Ponny if you wish to skip trekking.
    • After reaching the kedarnath Temple Check-in at mention Hotel or Camp
  • overnight stay at Dharamshala/Rest House (Own Cost).

 

Day 04: Kedarnath Temple To Guptkashi

  • Wake up in the scenic beauty of Kedarnath later enjoy healthy breakfast at Hotel or Camp, Guests can get in touch with our local partner to avail special entry or to perform any special puja at Kedarnath with the temple committee office. Cost for any such arrangements will be paid directly by the passengers to the local partner of Dham Yatra.
  • Kedarnath Temple: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva, the protector and the destroyer. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.
    • Check out from the kedarnath and start descending trek towards Gauri kund, on arrival at the Gaurikund take local transport to Sonprayag parking, our driver will receive you from Sonprayag and drive to Guptkashi
    • Dinner and overnight at Guptkashi

 

Day 05: Guptkashi  To Pipalkoti

  • After breakfast in Hotel at Guptkashi Checkout and begin your journey to Holy temple of Badrinath
  • Enroute of journey you will see some of the mesmerizing views.
  • Dinner at pipalkoti.

 

Day 06: Excursion To Badrinath

  • Badrinath: One of the ‘Four Dhams’ and one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild Thus the place got the name “Badri van”, meaning “forest of berries”.
  • TaptKund: Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.
  • NaradKund: A recess in the river, near TaptKund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.
  • BrahamaKapal: A flat platform on the bank of river Alaknanda. Hindus perform propitiating rites for their deceased ancestors.
  • Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.
  • BhimPul: On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.
  • Vyas Gufa (cave):Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Pipalkoti

 

Day 07: Pipalkoti to Haridwar

  • After having breakfast at Hotel.
  • Later Proceed to Haridwar Enroute see the beautiful Confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini River at Rudraprayag.
  • Dinner & Overnight stay in haridwar               

 

Day 08: Haridwar to Delhi Drop

  • After having breakfast at Hotel.
  • Check out from Hotel, proceed to Delhi and drop you Delhi railway station/Delhi Airport.
